The Calumet Quarter is an interdisciplinary, field studies program sponsored by Environmental Studies. Join us for our symposium where students will present their research projects from this intensive, experience based program.

Research projects include:
- a discussion of historical Native American land use and ecology at 3 locations in Gary, IN
- a critical examination of management practices and their effects on plant community composition at the Little Calumet River Prairie and Wetlands
- an analysis of environmental quality, pet coke, storm water management, and green infrastructure
